Terms of Service
These are the rules for using SoundSea. They are the site operator’s rules. They are not a lawyer’s opinion. The seller agreement covers beat sales. The privacy policy covers personal information.
Who operates SoundSea
SoundSea is operated by its owner as a sole proprietorship. It is not operated by a company. The owner’s tax identity is given to the payment processor when a payment requires it. That number is not published on this site.
Questions about these rules go through Help & Reports after you sign in. The owner replies on that page.
Accounts
One person uses one account. You are responsible for activity under your sign-in. Fans can listen, follow, save, and buy. Artists use the same account and can also publish a page, upload music, and sell.
A founding member keeps the founder badge and the included premium access. That access does not make SoundSea the seller of that member’s music or beats.
Your content
You keep the rights in what you upload. You give SoundSea permission to store it, play it, and show it to the people your settings allow. Do not upload anything you do not have the right to share.
Marking a track with the AI box is voluntary. It is your statement. SoundSea does not inspect a file to decide whether it was made with AI.
SoundSea can remove a post, comment, or listing that breaks these rules or draws a real complaint. Report it through Help & Reports.
Beat sales
SoundSea is not the seller of a beat. SoundSea does not take a share of the beat price. A founding member already has that access and is not charged the seller subscription. Everyone else pays a separate membership to offer beats. The sample text in the studio is only a placeholder and cannot be sold. The seller’s own license is the buyer’s contract. Read the seller agreement before offering a beat.
Other payments
A song download or merch purchase is a sale by the artist who offers it. The payment goes to that artist’s own payment account. SoundSea does not add a commission to that price. A membership fee paid to SoundSea is separate from those sales.
Refunds
The seller decides a refund on a beat, song, or merch order and issues it from that seller’s payment account. When a refund covers the whole charge, SoundSea marks the order refunded and closes the download. A refund that covers only part of the charge leaves the download available. A refund does not cancel a separate SoundSea membership unless that membership itself is canceled.
Ending use
You can stop using SoundSea at any time. Account deletion from the profile page is not fully enabled yet. Purchase, tax, fraud, and dispute records can be kept after a profile is removed. Cancel a membership from the artist studio. Canceling it does not refund a beat a buyer already paid for.
